True Faithfulness

It is easy to be consistent for a day or two.  It is difficult and important to be consistent for one's whole life.  It is easy to be consistent in the hour of enthusiasm; it is difficult to be so in the hour of tribulation.  And only a consistency that lasts throughout the whole of life can be called faithfulness.

Saint John Paul II

Your Destiny...Your Duty

(Image Source - Wikimedia Commons ) This is the Will of God – your sanctification.  To be a child of Mary means to be a saint.  That is your destiny.  That is your duty.  That is the one work of your life and your life's only work…there is only one sorrow: not to be a saint.  God has willed that you be a saint; has made it the whole purpose of your life, and the only meaning of all your living.  Rev. M. Raymond, O.C.S.O.
