Oh, How Painful

Oh, how painful it is to Me that souls so seldom unite themselves with Me in Holy Communion. I wait for souls, and they are indifferent toward Me. I love them tenderly and sincerely, and they distrust Me. I want to lavish My graces on them and they do not want to accept them.   They treat Me as a dead object, whereas My Heart is full of love and mercy.  Jesus to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska

What Sustains Me and Gives Me Strength?

When my strength begins to fail, it is Holy Communion that will sustain me and give me strength. Indeed, I fear the day on which I would not receive Holy Communion. My soul draws astonishing strength from Holy Communion.  Dairy of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska

If Angels Could Be Envious of Us

If the angels were capable of envy, they would envy us for two things: one is the receiving of Holy Communion, and the other is suffering .  St. Maria Faustina Kowalska

Don't Pray? Think Again!

(Image source: Wikimedia Commons ) In whatever state a soul may be, it ought to pray.  A soul which is pure and beautiful must pray, or else it will lose its beauty; a soul which is striving after this purity must pray, or else it will never attain it; a soul which is newly converted must pray, or else it will fall again; a sinful soul, plunged in sins, must pray so that it might rise again. There is no soul which is not bound to pray, for every single grace comes to the soul through prayer.   St. Maria Faustina Kowalska

Are You Causing Him Pain?

Oh, how painful it is to Me that souls so seldom unite themselves with me in Holy Communion. I wait for souls, and they are indifferent toward Me. I love them tenderly and sincerely, and they distrust Me. I want to lavish My graces on them and they do not want to accept them.   They treat Me as a dead object, whereas My Heart is full of love and mercy. (Jesus to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska)

Inexcusable Ignorance

Oh, if only all souls knew who is living in our Churches, there would not be so many outrages and so much disrespect in these holy places.  (St. Maria Faustina Kowalska – Diary - 409)
