While the whole human race was
redeemed by Jesus’ Passion and Death, not a single soul was saved by this
Infinite sacrifice…The fright comes from the fact that we who have already been
redeemed can yet be damned. Redemption
is an accomplished fact; salvation for us is still only a possibility. Salvation is a matter of cooperation. Jesus does not do it alone!
